About

This course is designed for international students, new migrants and recent graduates who are trying to start a career in mechanical engineering within the Australian EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) mining industry. If you are applying for many engineering roles but not receiving interview calls, or if you are attending interviews but not progressing to offers, you are not alone. This is a very common challenge for new migrants and international graduates entering the Australian engineering market. In most cases, the issue is not your qualification or your willingness to work hard. The real challenge is understanding what Australian employers expect, what key information should be included in a CV, how that information should be presented, and how to confidently speak during interviews about Australian workplace processes. The Common Questions Everyone Has; How do EPCM mining companies work in Australia? How do mechanical engineers interact with process, electrical, and structural teams? How does information flow from design to procurement and construction? What documents do mechanical engineers work with daily? What should I talk about in an interview if I have no Australian experience? These are things most engineers only fully understand after starting work, but getting that first job is the hardest step. This course is designed to help you take that first step. At Uni2Work, we focus on showing you how mechanical engineering work is actually done in Australian EPC and mining projects. We explain the full project lifecycle, how EPCM teams operate, and how mechanical engineering fits into the bigger picture. We walk through real internal processes, engineering workflows, and project stages, so you understand what happens behind the scenes in entry level mechanical roles.
